The DfE has set out an expectation that state-funded mainstream schools should deliver a school week of at least 32.5 hours by September 2023.
The 32.5 hour minimum expectation includes the time in each day from the official start of the school day (i.e. morning registration) to the official end to the compulsory school day (i.e. official home time). The 32.5 hour minimum includes breaks and lunch times as well as teaching time and any extra-curricular activities that all pupils are expected to attend. It does not include optional before or after school provision.
Our school day starts at 8.50 am and finishes at 3.30pm which equals 6 hours and 40 minutes per day
(33 hours 20 minutes across a whole week)

Collection Procedures
It is the responsibility of the parent to notify school of any changes to the normal collection routine.
This is important to help us keep your child safe.
It is preferable that contact is made via Class Dojo as this is a closed system to members of our school community only.
Emails can be sent as long as they are sent from a parental email address registered with the school.
In emergency situtaions, please telephone the school where we will ask questions which will allow the staff and your child to identify the person authorised to collect your child.
If we are unsure, we will not dismiss your child until we have contacted those with parental responsibility or emergency contact details.
