School Awarded Primary Science Quality Mark
We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the prestigious Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM), a nationally recognised accreditation that celebrates excellence in science leadership, curriculum design, teaching and learning.
The Primary Science Quality Mark recognises schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to developing and strengthening science education, ensuring that all children benefit from high-quality science teaching and learning. The award is achieved through a rigorous year-long process of reflection, professional development and evidence-based improvement.
This achievement reflects our dedication to providing an engaging and inspiring science curriculum that encourages children to develop their curiosity, ask questions and deepen their understanding of the world around them.
The award was led by Mr Cotton, whose commitment and leadership have played a key role in driving improvements in science across the school. Through his work, alongside the efforts of our staff and pupils, science has continued to grow as an exciting and valued part of school life.
The Primary Science Quality Mark, led by the University of Hertfordshire, has supported thousands of schools across the country in enhancing science education. We are proud to join a community of schools recognised for their commitment to excellence in this important area of learning.
We would like to thank Mr Cotton, our staff, governors, pupils and wider school community for their support in achieving this award. We are incredibly proud of this recognition and look forward to continuing to develop outstanding science opportunities for all our children.
