Working Towards the RE Quality Mark

Mrs Fugill, the Religion and World Views subject lead,  is currently working hard to lead our school through the process of achieving the RE Quality Mark (REQM). This nationally recognised award celebrates high-quality Religious Education and recognises schools that provide engaging, thoughtful and well-led RE for their pupils.

The RE Quality Mark encourages schools to reflect on and develop their provision in areas such as curriculum, teaching, learning and leadership in RE. Schools gather evidence of their practice and are assessed against national criteria, with awards available at Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

Through this process, we aim to celebrate the strengths of RE in our school while continuing to improve the learning opportunities we provide for children as they explore different religions, beliefs and values.
