National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE)

At Burton Pidsea we are aiming to achieve 'Computing Quality Mark'. We will hopefully be accredited with this accolade in the 2023/2024 academic year. Plans have been put in place for this to be achieved. To be awarded the accreditation the benchmark level for all seven aspects needs to be at Level 4. The seven aspects are listed below.

  • Leadership and Vision
  • Curriculum and Qualifications
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Staff Development
  • Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and SEND
  • Careers Education
  • Impact on Outcomes

The Quality Mark is important as it recognises the high quality computing that has been taught at Burton Pidsea and the importance of digital skills students will need for their future.
