Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to all our Nursery and Reception children.

I am Mrs Fugill, and I absolutely love teaching in our Foundation Stage! I am a kind, caring and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about giving our youngest children the very best start to their school journey.

I believe that every child is unique and deserves to feel happy, safe, loved and valued. My aim is to create a warm, welcoming and nurturing classroom where children feel confident to explore, discover, play and learn at their own pace.

One of the things I love most about teaching in Nursery and Reception is watching the children grow and flourish. From making their first friendships and learning new skills to becoming more confident and independent, every little achievement is something to celebrate.

I love making learning exciting, creative and full of fun! Whether we are exploring the outdoors, getting messy with creative activities, sharing wonderful stories or discovering something new together, I believe that children learn best when they are happy, curious and having fun.

For me, the Foundation Stage is all about building those all-important firm foundations, helping children develop a love of learning, believe in themselves and feel proud of everything they achieve.

I also believe that working closely with parents and carers is incredibly important. We are a team, and together we can help every child feel supported, confident and ready for their next steps.
