School Council

A School Council is a representative group of pupils who have been proposed and elected by their peers to represent their views and raise issues with the Senior Managers and Governors of their school. Every year our children elect a new team to the school council. They spend time meeting each week to discuss any issues raised by the pupils and raise money for new school resources.

Our school council this year are:

School Council deliver hampers to 5 lucky Burton Pidsea Residents!

Over the past few weeks, FOBPSA have been receiving nominations for hampers. The children couldn't wait to deliver these and they put smiles on the residents faces. A truly emotional morning.

Community Donations

As part of the school Council role, the school decided it would be a lovely idea to make up some Christmas hampers for members of our community. The community were asked to nominate villages who they thought would appreciate a hamper. Nominations included someone recently bereaved, a centanarian, a community volunteer, those overcoming illness.

We donated 8 Christmas hampers to worthy residents of Burton Pidsea.

The smiles the children put on the recipient's faces is something they’ll remember for a very long time. The children have since received many thank you cards for their thoughtfulness, which is our school value for December.

The highlight of the trip was when Ethel showed the children a card she had received from the king for her 100th birthday.

Well done to all the school councillors.
